Winsor & Newton Brush Cleaner provides gentle cleaning power that will not damage brushes or other artists' tools, yet effectively and thoroughly removes oil and acrylic paints. Brush Cleaner can be used on all brushes and all colors. Its gentle formula will not damage synthetic or natural hair brushes. Oil, alkyd and acrylic paints as well as paint mediums are effectively softened and easily removed from the paint.

Usage Information: For watercolors and gouache, we recommend cleaning with water only, which should not require any additional aids. In case of persistent paint residues (perhaps due to the use of additives), this cleaner can still be used. Tip. The product is also suitable for cleaning painting and palette knifes such as other artists tools. Avoid contact of varnished or lacquered surfaces, such as brush handles as the cleaner will also soften this.
