Sennelier Oil Sticks allow oil painting to be approached differently: enjoy spontaneity and expressive, broad strokes. Composed of oil paint and a neutral mineral wax, this stick features pure pigments ground into vegetable oils (siccatives). Apply to canvas, canvas boards, laminated panels or paper. Layers can be overlapped and, like regular oil paint, they can be diluted with turpentine and dry to a hard film. This set includes titanium white, ivory black, primary yellow, primary red, primary blue and viridian. Made from pure pigment, safflower oil and high quality mineral wax, with oils selected for their low degree of yellowing with time. Before use, surface film should be removed. This latter will re-form after a few days of non-use.
