Lukas Berlin oil fine water-mixable artist oil paints in premium quality. The use of precious artist's pigments and the high pigment concentration guarantee excellent lightfastness and exceptional colour intensity. As a binding agent, modified linseed oils are used in special quality. In order to enable water mixability without affecting the other properties of the oil colour such as drying time, brilliance and malleability, a special process was developed to modify the oils that guarantees a practically waterproof (colour) film structure. Therefore, they dry completely like a pure oil paint. The drying time is for all colours between 5 and 7 days. The oil paints contain a small amount of beeswax, which leads to buttry-consistency and the typical silky gloss. No traditional solvents are used.
