This listing is for one handmade Geode Agate Tray Silicone Mold that you can use for Epoxy Resin casting.** A finished piece from this mold will measure 11.5 inches wide. We’ve included a video above, for a more detailed view, that shows the Mold and a finished Resin Tray that we created with our Ice Blue Crushed Glass (Finished piece is NOT included.) This Geode Agate Tray Mold is comprised of what we call “river” and “island” areas (the river runs thru, and around, the island areas.) This Mold has a total of 18 “islands.” On a finished Tray, the top of the river and island areas will be glossy, while the outside round edge of the Tray will be semi-glossy. To use this mold, you start by filling the river area with your choice of Glitter, Crystals, Mica Powders, or Resin Inks, and then finish pouring the bottom. Once the resin has cured/dried, and you have demolded, you then fill the island inset areas with Crystals, Glass, Flowers, or anything else of your choice, and secure that filler with resin, glue, or varnish. If your end goal is a Clock or piece of Art, to hang on your wall, you can stop there, but if you want to add feet or Lazy Susan hardware, to be able to use the finished Tray on a table, you will have to topcoat the entire piece. Any fill in the island areas or a top coat, will require additional resin.
