This bar of professional-grade encaustic wax paint allows you to use the whole bar or to break off a single section with a quick snap. Use the various sides for printmaking techniques, direct melting on a hot palette or snap off a section to refill your Hot Cakes®. Wax Snaps are highly pigmented and can be used full strength or diluted with a wax medium to create glazes and extend paints. Ideal for the workshop and classroom setting, where bar can be easily snapped and shared.
