These are one of my absolute favorite bead caps. I go to these constantly because not only do they layer with other bead caps well, they sit on top of larger briolettes as well as they sit on top of round beads. This listing is for twenty-four antique brass 6mm bead caps. When I use these bead caps to top briolettes I use my wire nippers to widen the hole, so as to fit the doubled 26ga wire that I've wound around the top of the briolette. Then I take the longer end and wrap it around the top. It makes for a clean and secure connection to a charm or other earring top. To widen the hole I stick the tip of the wire nippers in and twist it back and forth a bit. Please note that the hole is plenty big enough for 24ga wire, but when you double 26 ga you need to widen it manually to make the wrapped portion fit through it. These are antiqued brass. I think once you use these like I do, you'll be hooked on them as well! I'm including a few pictures of how I've used these bead caps with light blue glass blossom summarys (and I bet you've been thinking of ways to try to use those one sided little suckers!) stone - 6 or 7mm triangular green onyx briolette and pink givre glass briolette. Like I've said, these bead caps are amazingly versatile. These caps are made of 100% brass, they are very sturdy and have no lead or other poisonous materials in them. They are made in the U.S.A. I have seen a cheaper made in China version of these bead caps and they are not as well made and sturdy as these, nor when you look closely are they as detailed. AB-BC06
